What are the 5 best ways to reduce stress?
We all like to think we handle stress well but we often need at least 5 ways to reduce stress in with all the things happening in today’s world. Stress is now known to be a killer so let’s reduce it!
The first item on our list is to get an activity! Movement helps reduce stress for a number of reasons as exercise and other physical activity produce endorphins—chemicals in the brain that act as natural painkillers—and also improve the ability to sleep, which in turn reduces stress. Meditation, acupuncture, massage therapy, and even breathing deeply can cause your body to produce endorphins. Finding a good gym or health club could be one good way to get exercise, as well as finding some local parks to walk in could be a good start to reducing stress.
The second thing is a healthy diet or simply eating well! Find some great health food stores in your area to get natural, healthy foods into your system to improve your health. If you feel you’re not getting enough good vitamins in your system then visit one of the local pharmacies to get quality vitamins. As the better and stronger your body is the more able it is to deal with the stress load you carry. Also, stress tends to weaken the body and needs more good food intake or supplements.
The third is to focus on what is important on a daily basis and set boundaries so that you do not take on other folks’ stress loads as you have enough of your own. It’s important to set boundaries as well as priorities in life so we can maintain a positive life balance. If you do not feel you can do this alone then be sure to seek out a local psychologist or psychiatrist to assist you in this important process. If you feel so overwhelmed that you are in danger and may even do self-harm then you may want to remember 988 which is for critical mental health concerns that have for yourself.

Maybe a walk along a river or creek in the park. Then of course there is scheduling a full-fledged vacation could be in your best interest and no one better than a local travel agent could help you plan your next trip!

Finding that delightful personal spot and playing some relaxing music or listening to a recording of nature could be a very helpful thing when you seem overcome with stress and need relief. Music can trigger positive relaxation and endorphins that will help you reach a more come state. Some practice mediation or attend church regularly to hear uplifting music and be surrounded by friends.
